These are very comfortable and not thick but provided sufficient insulation to my hands in 50 ° F temps – i did not try them in colder temps but these were quite comfortable in high 40s ° F to 50 ° F temps using them around the backyard to pick up debris and branches.
Fit was perfect. I am wearing a medium size and the fingers were not too long and the fit was comfortable around the palm when i made a fist or grabbed heavy objects while wearing these gloves.
Palm is covered in rawhide, and provides a good grip while holding objects.

These are my second pair. First are still good and are the most comfortable work gloves i have owned. The wear like iron and was well after getting soaked in rotting fruit. They are reasonably puncture resistant, but not 100%.
