This is indeed the external battery.
The model is the one with 6 cells, so it has double the capacity, although the laptop is slightly raised at the back because it is thicker.
The computer recognized the battery without any problems. Since I changed it along with the internal battery, I did it by deactivating the battery from the BIOS.
The battery has charged well, in a reasonable time according to its capacity, and reports the expected capacity.
I haven’t conducted extensive range tests yet, but it seems to be accurate.
