Microraft series is a classic packraft type.

 

After a long product testing period and regards to customer feedback, MRS improved the technology and redesigned the balance of the bow and stern in the Microraft series.

 

The redesign resulted in a packraft with a sharper and more streamlined appearance and significantly reduced water resistance.

 

Our redesign also guarantees better buoyancy of the front hull, which means more luggage that can be carried.

The standard Microrafts series uses a traditional velcrobased water protection system(C-type).

 

It allows the paddlers to enter the cabin and close the spraydeck quicker and more convenient. But some water will enter the packraft inadvertently when the waves are too big.

 

In this case, our new waterproof system, the Dual-use sealed waterproof deck and spray skirt(D-type)could be a good choice, as it provides a better protection against water.

 

You can also consider a fixed full-sealed spraydeck with spray skirt(W-type) when you are in cold water.

 

 

 

 

MRS Mircoraft is made from urethan coated nylon, not PVC or Hypalon like other cheap boats in the market.

 

The material is light, abrasion resistance, UV tolerant, non-aging and flexible at low temperatures.

 

And this material is environment-friendly. It has a special treatment for s​mooth, scratch resistant surface finish and asymmetric coating (inner thinner than the outside).

 

This creates a supple material for easy packing and folding.

Classified as technical (T)PU, including thermoplastic and other coating processes, TPU has a good reparability that you can use the same fabric to repair the packraft if it were destroyed.

3. Can the dog join?

 

Of course! Till now, we have not heard that a dog has hurt a packraft’s floor. Our customers have ever loaded medium size dog on 98L and Adventure X2.

But we have ever repaired the holes bitten by dogs. Sharp claws or teeth will make holes, so be careful!

 

 

4. How do you inflate the boat without a pump?

 

Our packrafts come with a inflation bag with a screw nozzle in the bottom which is attached to the raft.

The boat is inflated by scooping air into the bag (using a breeze helps), then sealing the bag’s open end and squashing the air into the boat. After about ten ‘scoops’ the raft is 90% inflated.
