Raw Material Addition Ratio
1L: 100g citric acid + 100g baking soda + 150ml water
2L: 200g citric acid + 200g baking soda + 300ml water
NOTE:
1. Only one part of raw material + 300ml is allowed to be added to the 2L bottle at a time.
2. During the raw material reaction, the temperature in the bottle is low and there will be water mist, which is normal.
3. Do not place the cylinder upside down or tilted.
4. Raw material replacement steps: confirm that the pressure is back to 0, remove the bubble counter and air pipe, let go of the remaining gas, turn off the remote control, pull down the solenoid valve plug, loosen the valve counterclockwise, pour out the waste liquid, and rinse the inner wall of the bottle with clean water. Replace raw materials.

I bought a 2-liter CO2 generator and mixed 200g of citric acid and 200g of baking soda well by shaking it slightly, then added 300ml of water. When I added the baking soda and citric acid and water, it reacted immediately. The CO2 pressure is also good. I really like it. I was hesitant because it’s a bit expensive, but I’m glad I bought it. I have two aquariums and bought a separate distributor to install. There are separate valves for each distributor, so they can be adjusted individually. The contents are cooled down due to the chemical reaction of citric acid and baking soda, which is normal. Also, the threads on each screw felt a bit stiff, so I applied some fishing grease, and it got much better. I had to apply the stickers myself. The round stickers need to be applied to the opening. I tried using sugar and yeast to generate ethane, but it didn’t last as long as I expected, and the ethane diffuser was too weak to use, and it was very unpleasant to use. After switching to this one, it’s much cleaner and neater.

I loved it! I used to use the yeast and sugar system, but this one has made a huge difference to my aquarium, and the diffuser it includes works very well. The only downside is that the eliminator stopped working after 3 days, but I replaced it with a 12-volt one from an old modem. Overall, highly recommended. Shipping only took 15 days here in Mexico.

Co2 system came as advertised and set up was smooth. only note, the 1l operates at a higher pressure than the 2.5l so be sure to not add more than 100g of the reactants. i added 125g and ended up having to vent the excess pressure. 10/10 would buy this product again
