1.Full charge the battery when you receive it ,the charge time about 30-60mins
2.connect the battery with the shark,Please tighten the battery cover

Well made water toy for the price. The main body bottom of the shark is metal and has a sealing cap with o-ring and screws for the removable battery hole. Which is a good feature if you don’t like the ones with non-removable batteries that go bad after a while and charging through a connector on the body that might corrode over time. It still uses the 2-contact method of turning on in water, just no charging port which is good, imho. The movement of the tail is very fluid and lifelike. The controls are like a tank, just forward and back throttle for each side. There is no diving ability like some whale versions, but the spray ability works and it goes about 1-2 ft high. There is another button across from the spray button, like a demo, random movements on its own. The rotors seem well protected from damage/snags. The controller has a sealing ring around the battery bay, I think it is waterproof too but haven’t tested it.
