It’s a cool toy. Yes, it works as a microscope. You can really see details. However it is hard to focus. You must set the device very still on a table. Any touch on the focus wheel completely changes the image. And the viewfinder is very tiny. Overall I think kids gets amazed once they figure there’s a whole microscopic world happening.

Just like the product photo. Very cool to play and see things very closely, it is not a laboratory microscope, but a very powerful magnifying lens. An excellent cost benefit. Nothing very professional, but it meets the requirements very well.

For less than 5$, pretty good. Gets a real close view of surfaces. Can be tricky to keep centered but that’s microscopes in general. A cap for both ends to keep dust out would be nice though
