The material looks like stainless steel – checked with a magnet, it doesn’t magnetize. The only place where the magnet was slightly magnetic was the bend of the spout, which is very strange. I ordered a replacement faucet of a similar design from Frap, but painted to match light stone and which peeled off after just over 5 years. This faucet feels as if it’s coated with varnish on the outside, but we’ll see, time will tell. Of course, I would like it to be just polished stainless steel. The downside is that it makes noise under high pressure, like cheap faucets. But for such money, it’s a sin to complain.
