Bought for my sony bravia kd65x85l google tv running android 12 so i can watch movies from my home network that has bitrates higher than 100mbps, which the cap for many tv’s ethernet. An alternative would be to use wi-fi but it might be unstable.
The adapter works and connects with a usb 3.0 port, with full 1000mbps speed. It gets a little warm during use but it is nothing extreme, around 50 ° C, and it will be tucked behind the tv anyways.
