This is actually what i wanted at an affordable price. Because the back of the lamp has already a magnet embedded in it (and yes, it does come with a nice swivel base) you can mount this lamp anywhere. All you need is a little glue and a steel washer if you you wish to not use the included swivel. I used my lamp to show off my model uss new jersey battleship and some artillery and tank models just as capability photo. I plan to order more, one for each individual shelf. The lighting is very adjustable….giving perfect conditions to light up say a diorama, a family photo, or your keyboard. I like it very much.

The remote control was convenient to use, so I purchased an additional one. The brightness is appropriate, and it can be used for quite a long time when fully charged. However, it seems more convenient to use it continuously by connecting it to a USB adapter. The magnetic force is sufficient, so it won’t wobble or fall off when attached to the fixing bar.
