The display output depends on the charger and device.
If the charger supports fast a charging standard such as usb power delivery (pd), anker’s poweriq3 or qualcomm quick charge (qc) the display will stay dark until plugged into any device. This is normal, since a fast charger doesn’t output any voltage unless the device is connected.
If the device is fast charging, “pd” will be shown above the “w” on the right.
Max charging depends on the device and max watts of the charger port (usually a usb-c port)
If the charger is a standard 5v 2.4a charger, (usually a usb -a port) the display will light up without being plugged into a device since a standard charger always outputs 5v.
Max charging is 12 watts.

Excellent charge speed, 25w 5.8a on my phone. Fitment of type c not perfect. Too tight plugging the charger and had to flip it to get good connection on phone.
