Very sharp objective, with very good contrast. The image is indeed sharper and “punchier”, snaps better into focus than the more expensive 20x plan objective (item 1005004659870460 ).
The plan objective is of course better in the edges, and gives also a very good and sharp image, flat throughout the field.
For visual observations i will prefer this one, for photography the plan is more suitable due to flat field of view. Both objectives easily resolve details at the diffraction limit.
