   Used this with OpnSense Memory used was DDR5 from Samsung – all went fine (purchased by me) The ssd was a chinese no name brand… It has a 30s maybe 1 minute delay until it detects for the first time the memory so be aware of that …. This works as expected temps are ok, highest for me at this point is 43C

   I would like to give a short feedback on the mini PC I purchased. The goods arrived safely and excellently packaged. After successful functional tests, I expanded the RAM with a Crucial 16 GB DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM module and improved the temperature with new thermal paste. To optimize heat dissipation, I installed a 120 mm PC fan under the case. This is adjustable, connected via USB and is minimally audible when in use. At a room temperature of 27 °C, it keeps the device stable, and at around 45 °C, it keeps it much better than before. The workmanship is also impressive. The case is made of high-quality aluminum and all soldering points are cleanly executed. The customer service responded quickly to all inquiries and to my complete satisfaction. I am very satisfied and would happily recommend the device and the seller.

   Amazing little device, stays cool, incredibly versatile and powerful for the size and power use. Uses 12W on average in my use case. I connected a 12V fan over USB with it so stays even cooler but you don’t have to add that. Temps stayed below 60 without a fan, it’s at 42 to 45°C with it. Great little addition for the homelab.

   Nicer than i expected. Mine has G4/5 slot on the front and a what looks like a 2230 slot along with the M-pcie. WiFi holes and mini fan plug also, laptop kind of small plug if you go that route, holes are already there and screw holes on the lid. Have not hooked it up yet, delivery was fast.

   Hardware is perfect for an OPNsense firewall. Doesn’t get so hot either. Very nice delivery.
