This table, bench, and chairs was really a breeze to assemble and you not need two people. I do recommend using a ratcheting screwdriver and drill to speed up the process. I hesitate to use a drill because sometimes you can push too hard and damage the surface wood, but that was not a risk with this assembly! I hope the chair bolts remain tight as I have run into issues with that in the past on other dining chairs.The wood grain on the chairs and bench is solid, the veneer on the table top looks a little cheaper. I am hoping it is resistant to scratching.Overall, I recommend this product, and you can not beat this set at the price point! I am glad i found it!
