You can hardly expect miracles from a device for a couple of bucks. However, with due diligence and patience, you can explain to children what a microscope is by the example of this attachment. Look at the uploaded photos of an ant made with this device: you can see hairs on the legs and eyes on the head. These are the best results, and even this is quite difficult to achieve.
Basically, it’s a good toy for once – kids just don’t have any interest in a device that is so difficult to set up.
Cons: very difficult to focus the image. Severe distortions. The backlight switch sticks. Uv useless.
Worth a try – if you have patience and your hands are not shaky 🙂

Did not expect to get such nice quality from something so cheap, the uv light works too point out little bits anything not supposed to be there, the normal light to light up what you’re looking at works perfectly, it’s just perfect and works exactly like it should, takes 3 of those little batteries hopefully they last a long time because i’m gonna be using this all the time
