For only a few bucks this is a nice little soldering iron with temperature control. It’s probably best to replace the little stamped metal stand it comes with unless you want fresh burn marks on your workbench.

Nice display lcd. Affordable device plugged it in and works haven’t tested it on thick copper wire yet but it appears it can handel the job .

Heats up very quickly. Compatible with common tips. You have to hold the power button for a long time to turn it on. Cord and handle smell kinda funny, hopefully that will dissipate over time…

Aaa+++ i use a lot of these. They are high enough wattage to heat up quickly and have true thermostatic control (some cheap irons are just variable wattage).
These are good enough that i resell them as part of my own product. I test each one and all have worked just fine.
Since the price is comparable i am happy to buy direct from the manufacturer’s store.
