Clip system on this works better than the clamp styles as it locks into place in the back of the fan vent. Quick and easy function as you just slide the phone in and out from the top and the arms pivot around the side and bottoms of phone holding it with little rubber feet. This design lets you put multiple different sized devices in at any time without any adjustment. The arm on the upgraded version rotates but does not pivot out so it stays pretty flush up against the vent if you mount it lower like I have in the photo.
