This is a very good exercise wheel: excellent materials, great quality, silent, and without a doubt durable… -Although the base paint may not be so much, I bought 2 wheels and 1 had a few small notches (photo 1); Maybe more paint will fall over time, if this is the case, avoid that your animal put this residue in its mouth. -In some evaluations they indicate that it is not possible to couple the wheel with the base because it has a screw that is too short. This is not so (photo 2), the bars of the base “cross” with the “space” of the white piece (photo 3, upper space). -I bought the wheel/Base “medium” of 17cm. This is suitable for dwarf Hamsters, but not for larger animals such as Syrian Hamsters or adult jerks. -They are stable, even when it is used as much as possible it does not vibrate or falter. Without a doubt they are highly recommended.

Personally I would have taken plus big but it’s my mistake. She works well. Maybe put a little glue on the screw to prevent it from unscrewing over time rodents often and quickly run into the wheel.

we got several if these for our hamsters. as long as you buy the large one (17.5 cm) – it’s great and fits a dwarf hamster. smaller ones would be too small, can work for babies, but not for adults (can hurt their back). for the larger type of hamsters I’d recommend a bigger type. but this – for dwarf-hamsters, is perfect! also, very very silent and smooth!
