How to use:
1. Clean the electronic components to be soldered.
2. Once iron reaches temperature (not too high, recommend 300-400℃).
3. Apply a little solder to the heated iron tip to prevent oxidation, then rub the iron tip to evenly extend the solder to the surface of the iron tip.
4. Start to solder

I used to have a professional smd rework station that cost over us$200 to reflow cpus on hp laptops. It worked great but it got little use after the bottom fell out of the used laptop market and walmart started selling hp laptops for us$175. I sold it several years ago and recently started trying to repair ego 56 volt batteries and needed a reflow station. This works as well as the professional station and takes up a lot less workbench space. The soldering pencil seems well made. Hint:: take the rubber tip cover off the soldering pencil before turning on the power. The hot air gun fits my hand well. Three tips are included for the hot air gun. Also included is a rest for the soldering pencil and a pad to wipe the pencil tip. The main unit doesn’t feel cheap. Once the warranty is up, i plan to take it apart for photos.

Excellent product, it looks high quality but the only thing I didn’t like was that I bought it from warehouses in the United States so that it would arrive here in Florida, but this purchase here in the United States took a long time, almost 11 days approximately. I’ve bought from warehouses in and there the product arrives super fast compared to buying it in the United States. I think that’s the only downside but other than that, the product arrived very well and is 100% quality for its price 🏆

Item arrived quickly. Packaging was sub par, but item is complete and in perfect working order. Iron and hot air device heat up very quickly. Remember to remove plastic cap from iron tip before plugging in. My only issue is there is no readings for farenhiet. Only celsius. No biggie. For the price, it is a well made quality tool.

Hot air gun works great! Upon receiving i set it all up and tested it on a junk board i had lying around. It flowed the solder pretty quick and i was able to remove/replace ics with ease. For a cheap starter system, look no further.

Held off on a review until i had a chance to full test out the kit, and i must say it’s very impressive for the price. It’s not perfect, and i have some criticisms, but it is still a great value for the price.
The soldering iron stand uses a very light bent piece of metal to hold the iron. This is exactly how it’s pictured. It works well enough, but you might want to invest in a better stand.
Overall, the main unit is rather light, it will slide around if you’re careless unless fastened down. On the flip side of that, it does come with a wall mount that works well. Just attach it to the wall or your work surface with a few screws and it’s perfect.
The whole pile of accessories and additional supplies that come with it make it a great starter kit. It would make a great christmas gift for someone getting into diy electronics, imho.

This soldering station is good value for the money. I like the air and electric in one unit with independent temperature controls. It is very light and tips over but i haven’t attached it to the back wall of my workstation yet. It comes with a wall bracket, which is very nice. I wish it had a wire holder for the electric iron so both heaters would be off my workspace when i am not using it.

Honestly. Overall impressed with the quality of the materials used. And overall works well. Struggled at first with getting it hot enough to melt the older but i was able to figure it out quickly!
