my cat is 13 and she is in love with this one! comphortable to use. my cat is 8.5 lb so not the biggest one. she fits into size small just fine. However, if she was a little bigger, I would recommend size large. Generally, this design is still goingnto work perfectly fine if the bag is bigger than needed. So, I say getting a bigger ine if not sure what size you need is a good idea.
