It’s a good lock for using on an entrance door to a building. I made the mistake of seeing that it was waterproof and decided to install it on a gate. Getting part way through I realized that there is no way the inside part can be on a door that is outside. It would not last a down pour. Only the outside section is waterproof which is quite annoying. Oh well I may try installing it on a different door.
