I liked the new door sensors from sonoff. The combination of matte and shiny plastic, the sonoff logo, and the rounded shape give the product a premium look. It’s too big, you might say, and yes, it is, but it’s visually more appealing than the aqara sensor. Really? Two aaa batteries will keep the sensor running for a long time without replacing them. The sensor is perfect for white windows; it’s practically invisible against the white plastic. The sensor works perfectly with home assistant using the zigbee to mqtt add-on (requires a zigbee coordinator). It also works with the native ewelink app (requires a zigbee gateway). One of my favorite stores offering new sonoff products. As always, great prices, friendly seller, and fast delivery. Super! Thank you 🙂

I am extremely happy with this sonoff snzb-04pr2 senseguard. The first thing that struck me was the impressively small size; it is much more compact than i expected, making it very discreet once installed on the door frame.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the battery was included in the package, which is a huge plus as it allowed me to set it up and pair it with my zigbee hub immediately without a trip to the store. The build quality feels solid, and it responds instantly in my smart home automation. This is a fantastic, low-profile sensor that offers great value for the price. Highly recommended!

The other model/older model requires special batteries, these standard batteries that I always have in stock at the supermarket and hardware store. So far it’s working great. Integration via ZHA is effortless.
