The equipment works but does not solder thicker wires; it lacks the power to heat them up. It is suitable for electronics and thin wires.

Ok. I have tried various cordless soldering irons in the past and none really worked very well. The battery operated ones were good for only very short periods and they would die prematurely. The butane ones would always have problems getting the right air/fuel mixture at the tip. So i purchased this one with low expectations.
Boy was i surprised! These heat up quickly and the charge lasts a long time! I like the removable tip, as it allows for replacement if damaged. The charge display is accurate and looks great. This is the first cordless soldering iron i have had that actually works well and that i really like. Comes in a nice carrying case. I take it with me any time i plan to do something “in the field” where i might need to solder something. This is really a decent quality unit.
