4-Piece Candle Care Set – Wick Trimmer, Snuffer, Dipper and Tray in Stainless Steel

The three tools a jar candle actually needs, plus a tray to keep them on instead of loose in a drawer.

• Wick trimmer. Angled scissors with a flat catch plate behind the blades, so the trimmed end lands on the plate rather than in the wax.
• Bell snuffer. A small cone on a handle that covers the flame and puts it out where it stands – no blowing, no wax across the table.
• Wick dipper. A hooked rod for bending the lit wick down into the melted wax and lifting it upright again, which puts the flame out without smoke.
• Oval tray. All three sit on it between uses, so the set stays together next to the candle.
• Four finishes. Gold, rose gold, silver and black – the same four pieces in each.

Using the set

Trim the wick back before each light rather than after, and keep the trimmer plate under the cut so nothing drops into the wax. Use the dipper when you want the candle out with no smoke and the snuffer when you want it out quickly. No candle is included – this is the tools and the tray only – and the supplier publishes no measurements for any of the four pieces, so if the tray has to fit a particular shelf, allow for that.
