The best part about this tool is that it does not require any extra power source. I cross-checked with another multimeter. It turned out to be very accurate.

good product for the price. uses tested battery to power the unit. I thought it would come with spring loaded arm, but instead it is slid both directions by hand. feal cheaply made (thin plastic) but does the job it is supposed to. I am happy with product for the price.

This is a coll battery tester. It requires no battery, because it is powered by the battery being tested. A lot easier than getting out the DVM. I have two now. The first one has required the resoldering of the wire to the slider part twice. No big deal if you have a soldering iron. While the construction is ticky-tacky, the job is to see if you have a good battery. It does that well.
