Wow, what a printer! i should’ve bought one a long time ago. i’ve had no issues and it prints amazingly. especially for such a low price compared to other 3d printers. the ifs multi-color system works great and it’s very easy to switch colors in and out. i’ve also had no issues with using either flash studio or orcaslicer.

The printer has worked great out of the box. I let it run i’ve built in test print, did one of my own, and then threw in a 24 hour print that finished without issue. While the color changing is show and wastes filament the end result was highly serviceable at a great price

Very affordable way to get into multi-material printing. Probably not the best value but if you are already using the ad5m like me its all using the same software. It would be great if it came with an ams like similar models. Also being locked into the software flashforge provides and not using your preferred software can be frustrating. On linux i struggled to get orca-flashforge to work and used flash print. Do not do this. Just get windows running and use orca-flashforge. Most default settings will work and if you use the camera the app on your phone allows you to check anywhere. Love it.

I am very happy with my printer, it is configured to use right out of the box, but if you know how to do the different tests and configurations, it can work better for you. The printer is fast and except for one specific fan, it practically makes no noise.

Amazing printer, feature packed and affordable. Hundreds of hours and not a single issue, added the enclosure and i highly recommend. No 3rd party cameras work so you do have to buy the flashforge camera if you want time-lapse video or to check in on your prints.

To be honest, i did not expect too much of this machine because of the price. I was wrong. This is a great little printer. It worked right out of the box and has continued to so since i bought it. The side mounted spool holders work with most filament spools, some (two so far tend to come loose so it is best to keep an eye on that. Unlike most multi-color/material systems, this is not bothered by cardboard or thin rim spools. I am able to use filaments that would not work on my other printers.
The quality of prints is as good, if not a little better than on my bambu lab x1c, and it wastes less filament because it needs way less retraction. The shorter filament retraction also means faster color changes so prints take less time to complete.
