I can tie a tie and I also have a black one, but I bought this for when I can’t tie it properly! I’m grateful that the zipper is a bit longer!!! It’s fun to use! The fabric isn’t too slippery either! It has a bit too much of a glossy feel, but it’s fine for everyday wear 😂

The tie has a zip closure! It’s strange to have a zip closure around your neck, but at least you can open and close it depending on how tight or loose you want it to be. The color of the tie is very nice and the material is okay. It would be good, however, if there was an elastic band instead of the zip, or a kind of “belt” would be better.
