The visual guide/manual was helpful. Like other customers have said, you need to buy your own lr44 batteries for the lights. I recommend gel glue, tiny scissors, box cutter, a tweezer, a toothpick, and a ruler. Some of the items were challenging to build because they are so tiny but using tweezers and toothpicks helped
