The latch and release is a bit stiff, but that’s ok if it translates to safety.

I found they inserting the seatbelt catch a bit deeper while pressing the release button is best.

I’ve pulled, twisted, yanked, slammed, pounded, beat on these and they won’t accidently pop open under abuse. I have four (4) and they all passed my testing.

The plastic case is extremely shiny, i suppose it will eventually scratch up, but that’s just the way it is.
